Eight collections ranging from exquisite jewelry, home decor and confectionary—from seven local and one foreign designer—were on show last Friday, when speciality store Stetchers hosted a reception for customers at its Long Circular Mall, St James branch. This was in addition to the other existing signature collections in store. Simone Agar, chief executive officer at Stetchers, and her team, pulled out all the stops for the splendid customer appreciation evening, where clients viewed the Frederique Constant Geneve line of Swiss luxury watches. This brand was carried exclusively by Stetchers in T&T and was also available at its duty free shop at Piarco. Christopher Anderson’s new collection of sterling silver, brass and copper jewelry were on show, so too were Liz Mannette’s 14 and 18 karat gold pan pieces. Staying with the steelpan theme, she launched The Movement Rack Collection as well as The Showtime Collection inspired by the scratcher in the engine room section of the steel orchestra. Mannette also reworked her original pan hoops collection by adding gem stones. Donna Beya and Anoushka by Ilmes had a Christmas jewelry collection, too, but Anna Meez gave the showing a nice twist with her table wear gift set. Raw precious stones and silk, inspired Faith Gurley’s ethnic line of jewelry, while Gina Hardy tantalised the taste buds of guests with her collection of chocolate truffles, which to the delight of invitees, was served as part of the selection of hors d’oeuvres. This was complemented by the fine selections of wines from Vemco Ltd, as well as Baileys from AS Brydens. Live entertainment was supplied by vocalist Dr Lesley Lewis-Alleyne Nigel Floyd
