Forget the mega-resort. These four Belize retreats pair true all-inclusive stays with private islands, small-scale beachfront settings and adventures on the Belize Barrier Reef.
There’s a private island off the coast of Belize where your all-inclusive vacation comes with an overwater bar, a stretch of Caribbean sand and snorkeling trips on the world’s second-largest barrier reef. And that’s just one of four intimate resorts that offer a very different kind of all-inclusive escape.
Coco Plum Island Resort, Manta Island Resort, Laru Beya Resort and Belizean Dreams Resort aren’t the sprawling, hundreds-of-rooms all-inclusives you find elsewhere in the Caribbean. These are smaller stays, from private islands to the beaches of Placencia and Hopkins, with meals, drinks and experiences folded into the vacation.
And there’s something new at Coco Plum: the private-island resort recently debuted more than 6,000 square feet of new pool, bar and relaxation areas.
A Private Island for Couples
The adults-only Coco Plum occupies a 16-acre private island off southern Belize, with 21 private cabanas and an overwater villa. The boat trip from Dangriga takes about 20 minutes.
Its all-inclusive package is the standard way to stay, pairing the intimate island setting with meals, unlimited local alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, local transfers and included experiences. Regular stays have a four-night minimum, while selected holiday periods require seven nights.
The resort’s recent update added more than 6,000 square feet of new and reimagined areas, including an infinity pool and the Serenity Bar & Pool. We found a special offer that’s also available for qualifying travel through Dec. 18, 2026.

This is Manta - An All-Inclusive Stay on Glover’s Reef
Manta Island takes you farther offshore to Glover’s Reef Atoll. The resort has 11 standalone oceanfront cabanas, two two-bedroom Reef Villas and two three-bedroom Reef Villas, including one with a plunge pool and another with a private L-shaped pool.
Its principal all-inclusive experience includes three meals daily, unlimited local alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, local transportation, scheduled snorkeling excursions, resort activities and the use of kayaks, paddleboards and snorkeling equipment. The boat ride from Dangriga is about 75 minutes, depending on sea conditions.
Manta also has the collection’s only dedicated dive package. Because diving and alcohol don’t mix safely, alcoholic beverages aren’t included in that package, but smoothies, juices, soft drinks, mocktails and other nonalcoholic options are.
Package stays ordinarily require at least four nights, with a seven-night minimum in selected holiday periods. A special offer is available for qualifying travel through Dec. 18, 2026, making this a timely choice if the reef is the reason for your Belize vacation.Laru Beya is a different kind of resort.
A Placencia Beach Base
Laru Beya is set directly on the beach on the Placencia Peninsula, with accommodations ranging from Oceanview Standard rooms to one-, two- and three-bedroom suites. Many of the larger suites have full kitchens, separate living areas and private balconies, a particularly useful combination for families and groups.
Its all-inclusive packages include meals, unlimited local alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, ground transportation, resort activities and selected tours or excursions. The regular minimum stay is three nights, rising to five nights for selected holiday dates.
The resort is promoting savings on qualifying all-inclusive stays through Dec. 18, with larger nightly discounts for stays of at least four nights. Beyond the resort, the roughly 16-mile peninsula gives you beaches, small hotels and Placencia Village at its southern end.

The Coast and the Jungle in One Trip
Belizean Dreams is set on the Caribbean coast in Hopkins, with nine standalone villas and seven boutique rooms in its Promenade Building. Its larger villas give families and groups additional space while keeping the experience intimate.
Every all-inclusive package includes accommodations, three meals daily, unlimited local alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, ground transportation, resort activities and tours. The standard All Inclusive Package includes one scheduled tour, while the Mayan Jungle & Beach Package includes more than one tour, with the total depending on the length of stay.
Regular package stays require at least four nights, and selected Christmas and New Year dates require seven. The resort is also offering fall savings on qualifying All Inclusive and Mayan Jungle & Beach packages for stays from now through Dec. 18.

Which One Is Right for You
Choose Coco Plum for an adults-only private island and the resort’s newly expanded pool and relaxation areas. Pick Manta when Glover’s Reef, snorkeling and diving are at the top of the list.
Laru Beya is the strongest match for a Placencia beach vacation with larger suites and room to explore the peninsula. Belizean Dreams is right for travelers who want their all-inclusive stay to link the Caribbean coast with Belize’s jungle and Maya heritage.
The appeal of these four resorts is how much is already woven into the stay. You get to choose the Belize setting that fits you best, and the meals, local drinks, transfers, resort activities and included adventures follow from there.
