Shelly Ann & Usain Bolt Go For The Win At World Champs #TeamJamaica
Native Jamaican runners Shelly-Ann Fraser and Usain Bolt are doing great things. Like Bolt, Fraser-Pryce came into the event with two Olympic and two world titles in the 100. And after Bolt ran to his third gold on Sunday, Fraser-Pryce did likewise on Monday. The Team Jamaica mates rose to the top with the victory. Fraser clocking in at 10.76 seconds, Bolt brought in the win at 9.7 seconds - both outstanding times. Jamaicans worldwide thrive in all facets of life; politics, sports, entertainment, technology, sciences, the arts, among so many other industries. I am proud to be an American born woman with ties to Jamaica. My Caribbean heritage pushes me to achieve my goals not only for my family but to ameliorate my status in the Jamaican Diaspora worldwide. We can do anything we put our mind too. As my mother says, “Who Jah Bless, No Man Curse. What is made for you shall be for you!” Jamaicans are building the winners circle in 2015.
