Gracing the stage were some really fantastic performers headlined by the beloved Beres Hammond. The night saw other performances by Gramps Morgan (Morgan Heritage) doing his solo act, Culture, bringing back some real old reggae vibes and Lenya Wilks of the Harmony House reggae family. The crowd was kept very entertained between the acts by DJ Inferno.

Gramps Morgan performing on stage in Charlotte NC The night got started with Gramps Morgan hitting the stage and treating the fans to tracks from his just released solo CD. His deep mellow voice had the ladies rocking and the men wishing they could sing like that to their ladies. Gramps also did a few Morgan Heritage favorites which were very well received. Coming off his recent performances along side India Arie Gramps is showing that he has what it takes to be a top solo performer. Of course the fans will not want to lose that distinctive voice from Morgan Heritage. Following Gramps' encore was Lenya Wilks, a young lady with a future. Lenya sings with the Beres Hammond crew out of Harmony House and she displayed great voice control and a dynamic range which tells us she has a great future ahead of her. Lenya then gave up the stage for Culture and he had the fans rocking to some vintage music such as "when the two sevens clash" and many more. Beres Hammond hit the stage at 12:30AM and for the next hour and forty five minutes had the crowd simply eating out of his hands. Beres has been at this for so long he knows exactly what the crowd wants and he delivered yet again. From "Double Trouble; Rise and Shine, Come back home, Show it off, to Falling in love all over again, Beres had the fans going. When he left the stage at 2:15AM it seems no one wanted to leave. Once again Brightworks Promotion delivered a great entertaining package for Reggae lovers in the Carolinas.
