THE RURAL Agricultural Development Agency (RADA) is to stage its inaugural Christmas bazaar and farmers' market on Wednesday, December 21.

According to RADA, this will be a market dedicated to the selling and showcasing of its home economics and social-services output. This will be held at the grounds of the Ministry of Agriculture, St Andrew.

"The bazaar is part of the authority's thrust to educate the wider public about the significance of the agro-processing and value-added work being done by the Rural Agricultural Development Authority, as well as be a two-pronged situation to showcase how RADA is assisting rural women in earning a living from the viable business of working in the value-added areas of the agricultural sector," said a release from the agency.

Attendees will get their regular farmers' market, but with the added input of the home economic and social services farmers' market.
