International reggae star Peter Lloyd recently completed shooting the music video for his fast rising new single, Blood on Your Hands.
This is his first music video in seven years and Lloyd, who again brings his directorial skills to the production, abandons his usual picturesque scenes for a grittier portrait of life on the sometimes mean streets of Jamaica.
The Blood On Your Hands music video was shot on location in Kingston Jamaica with Backbush, Nannyville, and Stanton Terrace providing the backdrop. The five man crew included David Chambers as production manager and second unit director; Taj Christie as main cameraman and editor; and Mark Powell as second unit camera man.
The Blood On Your Hands single has started to receive growing support across the island, the Caribbean, UK, and Europe. It is available on iTunes, Amazon.com and all other major online stores on the Blacklight Records label. The music video will increase attention to this socially aware track written by Peter Lloyd and produced by himself and reggae icon, Dean Cannon Fraser.
On the heels of his very successful Positive Vibrations Tour of Europe, Peter Lloyd returned to Jamaica with a stunning performance at the 2014 Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival.
