The 61st Miss Bermuda competition kicked off yesterday with the Miss Photogenic competition in Dockyard.
At Snorkel Park, the 17 contestants posed for photographers as they were judged, not only on their best picture, but on their personal style and fitness.
The competition culminates this Sunday, with the ladies competing in the pageant at the Fairmont Southampton Princess.
The winner will be the first Miss Bermuda crowned since 1997, following in the footsteps of past winners including Gina Swainson, who won the 1979 Miss World Pageant and Zina Minks, who placed in the top 15 competitors for the 1980 Miss World title.
