Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte open Havana film office

HAVANA, Cuba (ACN) -- American artistes Harry Belafonte and Danny Glover inaugurated on Friday the Havana office of the traveling Caribbean film festival, which is celebrating its second edition. The opening of a venue of this project that includes traveling Caribbean film showcases dedicated to children and adolescents received strong support that will allow the further expansion of the initiative, which has already reached 31 countries in the area. Cuban Culture Minister Abel Prieto, who attended the inauguration of the office, highlighted the talent and ethical values of the two American artists. He stressed that both artistes have paid high price for their solidarity and faithfulness to their own principles. Glover and Belafonte officially inaugurated the new venue.
