Awarding winning journalist Maia Chung and BESS 100 FM’s Andrew Pryce BFFs for years, have decided to take their favorite dancehall show STING by storm for 2011.

With Andrew’s growing and successful show E-mix at BESS 100 FM, the two dancehall music “fanatics” conceptualized a new approach to bringing the heat of the STING show to the radio audience, that should take this year’s STING 2011 to a new level of value added greatness -  that people will be talking about for all of 2012.

We’ll be the two to listen to if you can’t make it to the grounds or if you are in the Diaspora!

On the night of STING, BESS 100 FM, have teamed celebrity journalist Maia Chung with emerging entertainment guru Andrew Pryce… for a continuous live broadcast  from the show; that will defy what has been done before for radio coverage for the greatest one night dancehall show in the country.

According to Chung, ”all the hottest stars of the STING event will be talking to us at our broadcast location, not just about the STING event  but I am friends with quite a few of them and maybe I can get them to dish about other interesting stuff who knows lol”.

Maia Chung’s television brand -  Maia Chung Television (MCTV)  will be filming the event to produce a docu-feature from that night’s activities that will air under the Maia Chung Television brand, globally in at least 22 countries.

Miss Chung will be giving out signed pre-released copies of her book Maia’s Take being published by LMH publishers, at the event to all the celebrities she interviews  -during the BESS 100 FM broadcast which will be streaming live all around the world via the worldwide web.

Chung adds - “I decided to partner with Andrew and BESS 100 FM because I am a media strategist and communication specialist, who can clearly see the way forward for entertainment that is beyond the typical, and that’s what BESS 100 FM has in Andrew Pryce and the E-Mix. I only attach my brand to those I see that have quality and STING AND BESS 100 are on their way”.

She adds, ”at the BESS 100 FM spot we’ll be there from start to end, there will be filming by MCTV so if you come to our spot you’ll end up on TV, there will be radio broadcasting and our footage will be aired by MCTV on multiple screens worldwide”.

The BESS 100 FM spot will be the place to be on STING night other than the large stage, the duo confirmed.

Maia explains that her reason for carrying out this night of fun with her BFF is, “I wanna end my year with a lotta fun and I am a STING tete. This is just one of my party plans this year”.
