Amazing Woman's Day Jamaica Launched!!!

February 18 2010 saw the official launch of the Jamaican leg of the
Amazing Woman's Day 2010 at the Hilton Hotel in Kingston Jamaica.
Thelaunch marked the first international extension of the Amazing Woman's
Day activities and selections, from the US shores as the programme upon
until 2010 - was typically based in the United States, where the
project has been for a decade... been highlighting the successes of
women across the United States.
Creator of the Amazing Woman's Day franchise Marsh Engle and her panel
of judges headed by Jamaican born Subhadra Bowman executive producer of
the Jamaican leg through sample surveys and popularity votes chose 13
Jamaican women to kick of the Amazing Woman's Day series in Jamaica.
The women chosen as Jamaica's first set of outstanding Jamaican
pioneers are Jamaica's first female Prime Minister Portia
Simpson-Miller, Minister of Culture Olivia Grange, Donna Duncan Scott
founder of Jamaica Money Market Brokers, Rita Humphries Lewin Rita
Humphries-Lewin the Founder and Chairman of the Barita Group of
Companies, Sharon Feanny and Sharon Chambers Health pioneers Maia Chung
the Founder of Jamaica's first Autism Foundation which in under to
years of existence has generated some nine million dollars in
circulation to various Autism and Disabilities causes, Diana McCaulay
Environmentalist and Preservationist of Jamaica's rich natural
resources, Eleanor Jones
Managing Director and Consulting Principal of
Environmental Solutions Limited also a part of the Jamaican pioneering
environment preservation movement for 18 years. And musical genius
Tanya Stephens.

The series will move into Toronto Canadaofficially March 2 -2010 to add to this years international growth of
Amazing Woman's Day.

As well as being the creator of a programme to honour women andhelp them help other women to contribute their energies to global
development - Marsh Engle is CEO of ENVISION NETWORK, Marsh Engle has
over the past ten years has facilitated hundreds of hours of
transformational coaching and consulting to entertainment and media
professionals, authors, entrepreneurs, coaches, artists and more. As
founder of Amazing Woman’s Day, Marsh brings together thousands of
women and men in programs and events designed to empower feminine
leadership and success.
As the author of the acclaimed Amazing Women Amazing World book &
journal series, Marsh has written about some of today’s most boldly
successful – including the fewer that 30 women who serve among the
12,000 firefighters of FDNY.
Marsh’s achievements as a CEO, entrepreneur and advocate for the empowerment of women is been widely acclaimed.
In 2002, her activities in support of the creative innovation of women were written into the U.S. Congressional Record.
She has been the recipient of numerous awards including: Nomination
among the Power 100 Women in Entertainment, named among Who’s Who in
American Women, recognition by the Los Angeles Business Journal as CEO
/ Women Making A Difference.

Jamaica's 13 pioneers are being called upon to help between theofficial launch date and March 27-2010 help in the identification and
selection of 20 Jamaican female potential Ambassadors and 35 grassroots
women for honouring by the Amazing Woman's Day organisation.
March 27th will see a conference where female leaders, transformational
entrepreneurs and success experts will come together in a half day
conference of networking and sharing.

March28-2010 will see the occurrence of the main awards banquet, to honour
these 3 categories of women Pioneers Ambassadors and Grassroots
achievers.
Between now and March 28 -2010 the first Amazing Woman's Day in Jamaica
will be characterised by feminine leadership training, health and
fitness training, a retreat at the Hilton Kingston for education to
support each nominees individual vision of women, methods to effect
community change as well as to facilitate networking between leadership
mentors and the nominees to help them attain the next level in their
efforts.
Proceeds from all the activities centred around the initiative will benefit the Hilton Kids Charity.
