Men of The Cloth had women attending a charity fashion show, held at Satchmo’s Jazz Club located on Ariapita Avenue, Woodbrook, on August 1, smitten. Male models, suited up in creations from fashion house The Cloth, under the creative direction of Robert Young, caused quite a stir when they stepped into the spotlight with unbuttoned shirts in the production in aid of the Cancer Society of T&T VITAS House. The event was conceptualised by Satchmo’s and executed by Uber Consultants.

Except for the live jazz music played for the fashion file, patrons were generally quiet, until pieces from the Cloth took centre stage. Heather Jones, Claudia Pegus, Shurnel, Radical Designs, and Mill House also had segments. Judging from their responses, women turning out to support the worthwhile cause could not contain their jollity when the segment featuring The Cloth came up. Interestingly, men in the audience found humour in the reactions of their female counterparts.
