Come Wednesday October 30 -2013 at 10:00 a.m. Minister of Health Dr. Fenton Ferguson will oversee the launch of the UNFPA State of the World Population Report.
The launch is scheduled to take place at the Chinese Benevolent Society on 176 Old Hope Road Kingston Jamaica.
The Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) in collaboration with UNFPA will launch the State of the World Population report.
The focus of the report is adolescent pregnancy which remains a major concern for global Governments including in Jamaica despite recent gains.
Dr. Fenton Ferguson will be the keynote speaker at the launch.
