The Maia Chung Autism and Disabilities Ambassador (MCADF) Quinn Garren James Smith and his team mate Maia Chung-Smith will be flown down to the Second city today by Jamaica Air Shuttle Limited, where we will reside at the Iberostar for the weekend in order that I may participate as keynote speaker for the University of the West Indies' Open Campus Event Management team; on the occasion of their COCKTAIL PARTY for charity!
The cost is 1500 dollars per person .
The MCADF will have copies of Maia's Take for sale as well as the only locally produced docufeature on Jamaican Autism "Autism Splash" and printed material on our work with Autism in Jamaica (the material is free) - to raise funds for the Foundation.
Special thanks to the UWI Open Campus Event Management Team, Jamaica Air Shuttle and Iberostar for their choice to help Autistic Jamaicans in some way.
As usual what I recommend is that we Jamaicans make a concerted effort to buy from, fly with, stay at, do business with people and organisations which help people in need.
The seed you sew with that entity or person may come around to save your life or that of a friend or family member.
Me and the Ambassador are looking forward to our weekend adventure and are willing to trek where we need to, to help the Autism and Disabilities cause (as long as it don't interfere with his GSAT prep :)!
