Subject to the terms of the Agreement, Pan-Caribbean has been granted permission, to, on behalf of the farmers, sell the sugar and molasses from cane delivered to them.
Tomorrow Wednesday January 15-2014 there will be a signing ceremony between the All Island Jamaica Cane Farmers Association and Pan Caribbean Sugar Company.
This signing will yield the authorization of the sale of sugar and molasses and to establish the price payable.
Officiating at this event will be the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries,
the Honourable Roger Clarke.
The signing ceremony is scheduled to occur at the Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries’ 2nd Floor Conference Room, Hope Gardens, Kingston 6 at 9:30 a.m.
