The Maia Chung Autism and Disabilities Foundation endorses and is working with the Cotton Tree Toys For Kids Project for Christmas 2013 and we ask our supporters to read this update and get involved.

INTRODUCTION

It started with an eventful trip to New York in December 1994 where the pre-conceived notion to treat children with  toys on Christmas day in Jamaica, evolved. Venroy Nairne formed the C3666659054?profile=original3666659112?profile=original
and is Founder and President.

The organization is geared towards hosting an annual toy giving exercise for
children in Jamaica.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our quest is to portray charity in its rarest form by treating children in Jamaica from every genre of the society on Christmas day with toys. We will serve and support families in communities, foster harmonious relationships with the corporate industry and augment the spirit of community.

HOW JAMAICAN’S CAN HELP

 Set up drop-off locations

 Spread the word through networking

 Arrange trips within ‘your’ communities to transport children to the event

 Sponsor one or more high school girls in communities to be a part of the

Miss Cotton Tree pageant (J$10,000.00) per sponsor. The Contestants are judged on

The organization’s trajectory is to create a global initiative for people of all ethnicities to treat the children of Jamaica with love in the spirit of giving that will leave an indelible impression in their minds to pass on the great gift of love to the world.

THE EVENT: 17th Christmas Treat & Toys giveaway

Date & Time: Wednesday, December 25, 2013, 10:00 a.m.

Location: Balaclava Community Center, St. Elizabeth

Attendees: We are targeting 700 attendees for the one-day event.

Activities: The day’s highlights will include children games of yesteryear, music and

entertainment, food, rides provided by It’s a Party from Mandeville, live

radio broadcast, Miss Cotton Tree Toys For Kids pageant, and more.
