Today Tuesday November 12-2013 marks the official start of the National Health Fund's 8th Caribbean Conference on Health Financing Initiatives.
Health Minister Dr. Fenton Ferguson will be giving the feature address at the event, which takes place at the Hilton Rose Hall Hotel, in Montego Bay Jamaica.
The conferences begins at 9:45 a.m. and will include participants from participants from various Caribbean Countries.
The attendees are expected to deliberate during the National Health Fund hosted Conference; on topics that will include International Developments in Health Financing, Medical Tourism, Telemedicine and Examination of the Treatment cost of Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases and optimizing the use of ICT applications in Healthcare and the economic implications of an aging population.
