Digicel, the Bigger, Better Network was the proud Platinum sponsor of the 19th edition of Saint Lucia Jazz Festival. Ranked one of the five top festivals in the world. Digicel was geared up to create a Bigger, Better Jazz experience for all patrons from around the world. With a magical and unforgettable experience which entailed, delicious food, great giveaways and wonderful music, this gave each who attended, a holistic Bigger, Better jazz experience like no other.

Digicel was excited to be a part of this unique Jazz experience for the second year. In addition to the contingent of unique entertainers which performed at Pigeon Island main stage, the Bigger, Better Network was also happy to unveil fantastic promotions and many interactive activities which were available for all who attended the three day open air concert.

Digicel launched a fantastic promotion dubbed ‘My Jazz, My Digicel,’ which gave customers the opportunity not only to have fun, but also connect with the Bigger Better network to win Big for the Jazz season. By texting the word ‘Jazz’ to the short code ‘7171’ customers had the opportunity to win $500 call credit, a BlackBerry Bold 9700 and $10,000 cash all compliments the Bigger Better Network.

Digicel created an entertaining and exciting atmosphere at the main stage events; to include well known gaming activities like DJ Hero and the ever popular Rock Band and new innovative interactive games like the Digicel Cash Cube that appealed to all ages. Patrons got a chance to win cash, BlackBerry handsets, gaming consoles, jewelry, trips, credit and much more at the Digicel interactive zone which was a great success on both Saturday May 8th and Sunday May 9th.

Digicel also rolled out the red carpet for all their loyal corporate customers throughout the three days of main stage jazz on Pigeon Island with a uniquely themed corporate box. Inspired by the wonders of ancient Egyptian society, the Digicel Corporate box was transformed into an Egyptian lounge which boasted the luxury and sophistication of one of the world’s greatest ancient civilizations.
