Charlotte Caribbean Festival - 2010

GBurkeImages Photo Braving temperature approaching 96 degrees in the shade, revelers enjoyed the 2010 Charlotte Caribbean Festival parade. The four block parade showcased beautiful costumes and dance troupes. The sidewalk of Tryon Street was ablaze with the colors of the Caribbean and the air filled with the mesmerizing sound of Steel Band music. if you live in Charlotte and missed this parade, you missed a good one.

  • Its nice to see Parades going down city streets. We used to have our Caribana Carnival parade downtown streets till it got too big to handle. It was enentually moved along the city's lakeshore.
