Alicia Keys currently recording in Jamaica

American Grammy-winning R&B superstar, Alicia Keys has made Jamaica her temporary home, as she will embark on a recording project in the island.

The songstress, known for several classics such as Fallin, A Woman’s Worth and Superwoman arrived in the island on Saturday for music-related purposes. According to media reports, Keys began attending recording sessions at Geejam Studios in Portland.

The studio complex houses three deluxe cabins, a self-contained villa, spa, gym, swimming pool and restaurant. Additionally, reports claim that the privacy Geejam studios offer assured Keys safe accommodation.

It remains unknown the nature of said recordings that Alicia Keys has engaged in, what projects she’ll work on while in the island or how long she’ll stay in the island.

Keys graces Jamaican shores previously; performing on the final night of the 2004 Jazz and Blues Festival to high acclaim.
