DRIP IRRIGATION PROJECT IN JAMAICA - with Maia Chung of the Rural Agricultural Development Authority

I am so freaking tired! Work was so HARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDD, I was a part of a team carrying out an assessment of the drip irrigation system demo plots, funded by the inter american development bank and ladies and gents was how I spent my day.

Interesting and very forward thinking for Agriculture though - 21 million dollars US was invested, in taking Jamaica's farmers out of the realm of total susceptibility to nature, and put more control and efficiency into the sector.

Yields and earnings are greater based on what I have seen.

A joint effort by Jamaica's Rural Agricultural Development Authority and the National Irrigation Commission - it made me think I should extend my work in the Agri Sector to having my own farm...hmmm oh and me and the farmers posed for goofy shots, ya gotta have fun on the job guys more to come you know how I do :)
